About Me
My name is Rebecca Prusinski, PT, DPT, WCS, CLT-LANA, NTP
First and foremost, I want to share my story with you in hopes that we can accomplish your health goals with a deeper understanding of one another. I am a doctor of physical therapy by training. I have 2 specialty certifications in Women’s or Pelvic Health and Lymphedema/Oncology and I am a passionate, holistic healthcare provider. But there was a piece missing.
Personally, I had been struggling since age 18 with poor gut health which limited my social life, created uncontrollable anxiety, and contributed to an extremely limited diet and development of severe food-fear. Two years ago, I decided that I was done living my life according to my digestive system. I sought the help of a Nutritional Therapist and it truly changed my life. After years of self-limitation and DIY’ing my health, with food and proper supplementation, I was able to heal my gut, anxiety, and return to a healthful relationship with food. It has been a long journey but one that handed me back the keys to my life.
In my own practice as a PT, I was seeing so many women with the same types of digestive issues, reproductive health problems, and chronic pain. I realized that nutrition was a huge missing piece of the puzzle. Without it, our bodies lack all healing capabilities. So, I completed my training with the Nutrition Therapy Association and learned how to guide clients back to health through a whole-food, nutrient-dense diet.
Through a combination of specialized expertise in nutritional therapy, pelvic health, and a commitment to holistic care, I strive to foster a supportive environment where women can prioritize their health and make choices that align with their unique needs and goals. It is my goal to empower and educate women about their bodies, nutritional needs in all phases of life, and to develop healthy lifestyle habits to support optimal daily function.
